Manager Checklist

First Month Checklist
Goal: To reinforce departmental priorities and answer any questions the employee may have.

Schedule meeting with new hire at the end of 30 days to:
  Review observations, issues and priorities.
  Continue to clarify roles, responsibilities and expectations, as needed.
  Ensure that mandatory training has been completed.
  Establish a plan for professional development.
  Answer any questions.
  Model the kinds of behaviors you would like to instill in your employees.
  Establish performance goals with the new employee which will be regularly reviewed.
  Insure that the employee has signed up for benefits & obtained MVNU ID Card
